One more goodie before we close the shop this week, this time with illustration/design maestro Joakim Jansson a.k.a. 1-UP! “This list got out of hand pretty fast. Was suppose to be 10 songs but then it just added up, and I lost the concept. But it’s a nice mix of soul, pop, rock. Enjoyable on a friday with a cold beer in your hand.” All good then! Make sure to check the 1-UP portfolio and the site of Bleed - where he currently works, beautiful stuff all around. Thanks Joakim! Download and stream the playlist here.

Here we go again. We know you’ve been waiting for this. The monthly digest of “stuff submitted”. It’s not a flattering name for a folder but who cares if the content is good? So… off the top of my head…

Rob Mack is influenced by graphic design and illustration from the 50s through the 70s. He loves crazy colors and beat up backgrounds. Nice - we say!

Jorge Chamorro does graphic design and handmade collages. Some really nice stuff in there.

Next time we’d like bags instead of images but anyway - super hot bags by Henrik Olssøn & Erika Barbieri - Olssøn&Barbieri.

We’ve written about Erik Kiesewetter before. Now he has updated his site with some new nice work. Check it out.

A guy named Peter sent us a mysterious e-mail, with a url only! As much as we feel like being treated like mongoloid robots, a few eyebrows were raised at this method of communication. However, after clicking the link we all agreed “Digest material!” and so here it goes - Marija Ivkovic, a nice photography portfolio.

Natasha Foote is looking for a job in San Fransisco - so send her a mail if you’re need people!

And last, but definitely not least… Supernatural, founded by zizzou, “a commercial platform exploring a range of media from product design and visualisation to graphics and fine art”. Nice!

Romina Pelagatti, Italian name…. but french? Whatever, intricate minimalist drawings. Beautiful.

This guy has an amazing range in styles of illustration, design and art direction. Very very nice. Jean Baptiste Biche

For those of you who liked the minimalist work of Vanessa Dziuba - check out Modèle Puissance which is the extended collective to which she belongs. Consists of: Vanessa Dziuba, Julien Kedryna, Nicolas Nadé, and Jean-Philippe Bretin.

What’s cool about Vanessa Dziuba’s illustrations is that she manages to make super naive drawings look hi-tech. This is by far the best illustration portfolio I’ve seen in ages. Minimalism genius.
Well-articulated and beautifully crafted illustrations by Irena Zablotska.
Raquel Aparicio’s style of illustration has a genuine fairytale quality to it… brings back childhood memories of books and stories. Very nice.
“These paintings are two dimensional representations of human insecurity and the lengths humans go to to be accepted” - Martha Rich.

I am a London based illustrator who to date has created work for magazines, album covers, posters, corporate identity and point of sale.
