Kris Kuksi Sculptures

Kris Kuksi

Absolutely phenomenal sculptures from Missouri born artist, Kris Kuksi.

According to his biography,
‘His fascination with the unusual lent to his macabre art later in life. The grotesque to him, as it seemed, was beautiful. Reaching adulthood his art blossomed and created a breakthrough of personal freedom from the negative environment experienced during his youth.’

Martin Kann

“The Swedish rock band Bob Hund released their single Fantastiskt (fantastic) as a one copy vinyl record that only allows 30 playings. The record was placed on a turntable with the lyrics etched on the turntable lid. It sold on eBay for US $3,650 and became the most expensive record ever sold in Sweden.”

Legendary Art Director Marin Kann, currently based in Copenhagen, has done a single for the swedish band Bob Hund. I think his most famous piece is “Omslag: Martin Kann” where he’d put his own portrait on the cover.

La Vitesse Et La Pierre‘ is an epic short film created with audio and still images. A film about the restrained Iris and the fleeting Bernard and the solitude that unites them.

Whyred presents its fourth collaboration in the Art Project series with the short movie ‘La Vitesse Et La Pierre’, by film director Igor Zimmermann and photographer duo Frode Fjerdingstad and Marcus Palmqvist. Music written and produced by Yourhighness.

The Digest #1 October —

Due to our policy of never posting stuff sent to us we sometimes get a dilemma with our output. We will never ever post a press release, that’s a promise. But we’ve had this idea of a monthly digest featuring the best stuff we receive during every month - separated from what we find in our daily “routines”. So here goes, The Digest #1 October —

Demian Conrad sent over some pics of a hot poster he made.

Karoline Strømme is a Norwegian illustrator based in London. She deserves a proper post but not until the web site is ready - follow her on Twitter meanwhile.

We liked the Polariod series from Paris by Italian photographer/artist Naomi Vona.

Antonio Senna, aka NERVOUSWETHANDS have quite a few interesting typographic exercises and projects on his site. Nice.

And finally….

Leif Podhajsky has some top notch work on his site.

You wanna be featured in the next digest? Send us a mail at, we read everything and love all of your links - so pass ‘em on!

Blue Note Collection

Stunning typography from a stunning collection of Blue Note records.

(Beware of cheesy web design)

Check it out over here.

Qompendium is a magazine for people who drink Glenlivet and masturbate to back issues of Monocle. Obviously we at No Legacy are big fans. Check some photos from their first (beautiful) publication.

Acne Art Department has new “portfolio” up. Watching their selected work on the site is like analysing a strobe light, but the work itself makes up for it of course. Go check.
